War on Waste Yourself

The whole concept of eradicating government waste is blared about for its own sake which, though understandable, has not borne fruit since its invention millennia ago. Our Governor candidates should instead remake the rules governing public spending; create real workplace incentives for public employees to be more aggressive and proactive about their work. Virginia Needs to Reform its Government to Meet Today’s Challenges

We need new, meaningful efforts from our next governor and the General Assembly to resolve these issues so we can put an end to the political gridlock at the state capitol. A study group, representing a cross section of Virginians, needs to be formed to formulate a non-partisan plan to tackle those aforementioned problems. Continue reading
